Development Partners continue to see the World Bank as a reliable and effective mechanism for channeling their resources to the Palestinian people. ľ¹ÏÓ°Ôº¡¯s systematic reporting, consultative procedures and collaborative approach make the PFRD a strategic platform for donors. With the World Bank as a trusted partner¡ªwhich often plays the role of convening influential stakeholders ¡ª the PFRD brings together the Palestinian Authority (PA) and key donors into one room to discuss development challenges, craft solutions, and build a shared vision.
The proposed PFRD Advisory Board will serve as a central strategic coordination body, bringing together key stakeholders involved in the Palestinian economic development and reform agenda, and specifically in Gaza¡¯s recovery and reconstruction.
