The key objective of the PFRD is to strengthen sustainable recovery, economic reform and social resilience in the West Bank and Gaza.??
The PFRD focuses on the following priority areas:?(a)?Macro-fiscal Stability and Public Financial Management?(b)?Human Capital Investment and Service Delivery (including infrastructure),?(c)?Private Sector Development and Job Generation,?(d)?Protection to the Poor and at-risk Population, and (e) Gaza Recovery and Reconstruction.
No operational activities or financial transfers to Gaza are foreseen at this stage. Re-engagement in Gaza would only occur if conditions allow and are subject to prior Board endorsement.
