This project supports BiH governments in crafting recommendations for a GovTech agenda and enhancing digital platforms for better public service efficiency and accessibility. Activities aim to develop nationwide GovTech recommendations and strengthen digital platforms.

Through this ongoing project, the Bank is engaged with Ecuador's Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Society (MINTEL). The objective of this project is to bolster Ecuador's Gob.ec Platform, which is key to accelerating the improvement and transformation of digital services. Activities include developing recommendations around scaling frameworks, digital service models, government architecture, and technical specifications

This objective of this project is to develop a constitutive assessment of Rwanda's E-Procurement system, and to leverage the gaps and benefits to develop a second-generation system. This project will collect data from e-procurement stakeholders and present recommendations for systems improvement.

The Digital Government Readiness Assessment (DGRA) aims to aid Algeria's National Agency for Digital Development and related ministries. It provides policy and technical recommendations for the Algerian e-Government Strategy and seeks long-term financing discussions with the EU and local donors.

This project supports core systems and GovTech enablers in anticorruption and justice in Armenia. Activities include developing a proof of concept for data-driven anticorruption policymaking and an ICT governance framework for effective management of ICT investments to the E-Justice System.

Community-driven development is a key operational strategy for many governments and international aid agencies. In support of this, this project seeks to improve communities¡¯ capacity to carry out procurement with the help of an open-source procurement application that digitizes and automates the procurement process, leading to improved competition and reducing errors or malfeasance.

This project seeks to design and set up a mechanism for the early detection of public procurement malpractice in Bulgaria, in order to address concerns about state capture and public spending efficiency. Outputs include a detection mechanism using public procurement contracts from the opentender.eu database, methodological note to enable replication of the methodology, an analytical report, and training seminar for government stakeholders.

This project analyzes the requirements for modernizing Cambodia's electronic public procurement system (eGP), focusing on introducing electronic bid submissions to enhance transparency and efficiency, while considering sustainable procurement. Building on an existing eGP readiness assessment, the project will provide assistance through stakeholder consultation workshops, recommendations for eGP functional development, and indicator development for monitoring performance and sustainability.

This project assists Cambodia's Ministry of Civil Service in modernizing its existing Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS), including roadmap development and online payroll module enhancement. Currently, it's advancing the online payroll module on the status change update of civil servants. 

This project sets out to support the development of an interoperability framework for Cameroun¡¯s Ministry of Finance to foster efficiency in the execution of public resources. To do so, the project will work with the Ministry to conduct institutional/organizational assessments, an inventory of registries/databases, an analysis of IT infrastructure, and provide recommendations on the development of an interoperability framework.

This project in Chile provides technical assistance to support the design of a beneficiary-focused IT platform that facilitates cooperation in case management and service provision and provides early warning in cases of extreme violence. Through this project, the Bank collaborates with government entities, addressing public service challenges and strengthening gender-based violence response.

Improving government platform adoption in Djibouti, this ongoing project aids ANSIE and MDENI stakeholders. Activities include change management strategies, process examination, and developing secure and efficient digital platforms.

This project assisted the Government of Dominican Republic in optimizing existing cross-cutting government administrative e-Services by promoting interoperability, universal accessibility, and transparency. The program aimed to improve process, flow, and the simplification of 150 e-Services delivered by 41 public institutions. To do this, the team conducted a service delivery review, outlined a proposed roadmap to address service delivery issues, and facilitated knowledge exchange for stronger public services.

This project provides support with policy and technical recommendations for the digital transformation of the court system.

This project aims to identify GovTech-enabling policy and institutional reforms in Ethiopia to improve service delivery for poor and vulnerable citizens. It will assess the environment for e-services expansion and develop a prioritized investment plan focusing on innovation and sustainability.

This project aims to enhance service delivery efficiency and accountability in Ghana. The Bank supported the Government of Ghana by studying the feasibility of a mobile-based beneficiary feedback system. The project successfully collected data on real-time feedback and provided recommendations on adjustments to the mobile-based feedback systems. Findings are currently being implemented. 

This project seeks to support Guatemala's enhanced engagement in digital government transformation, particularly for improving the coverage and quality of service delivery. To do this, the team worked with the government to conduct a Digital Government Readiness Assessment (DGRA), provide recommendations for a Digital Transformation Strategy, and deliver high-level workshop to advance policy discussions.

This project's objective is to reduce the fragmentation of government digital services in Indonesia. It does so by developing recommendations for a clear high-level policy/strategy of Indonesia Digital Government Transformation, ensuring the quality of National Enterprise Architecture, and establishing a Digital Transformation Implementation Agency (DTIA). Completed deliverables include strategy recommendations, enterprise architecture technical review, DTIA background paper, and capacity building workshops.

Working with Kenya's Ministry of ICT, National Treasury, the Council of Governors, and other relevant, this project aims to gauge Kenya's readiness for digital government adoption and inform strategies to enhance e-service usage. The team delivered recommendations for a Kenya eCitizen Communication and Change Management Strategy 2021, a survey proposal for e-Service demand, and a preliminary assessment of Kenya's digital government architecture.

The goal of this project is to strengthen inclusivity in Malawi's Citizen Engagement Platform prototype, promoting transparency, citizen interaction, and government responsiveness. Outputs include technical support on the citizen engagement platform, research on existing engagement structures, experimentation with CivicTech solutions, and embedding within social accountability programs.

In response to a request from Moldova's e-Government Agency, this project supports the implementation of Moldova's e-LPA (local public authority) and e-Archive platforms. The project does so by assessing requirements, developing concepts, technical specifications, and legal framework adjustments. Deliverables include concept development, impact assessments, and recommendations for both platforms.

This project seeks to promote human-centric approach for digital public services in Mongolia, to secure universal access. The completed project produced an assessment report, design-thinking workshops, and dissemination and capacity-building sessions with government partners.

Working with the government, this project aims to enhance service accessibility and efficiency, particularly by evaluating the readiness of provincial and local governments in Nepal for technology-driven citizen-centric service delivery. This objective will be achieved through a readiness assessment, cataloging of key services provided, and supported with dissemination and policy dialogue.

This project supports the government of Panama in the evaluation of the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of adopting digital shared services in strategic core government functions. This is part of the larger goal of enabling greater efficiency and operational savings.

This project aims to empower the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) in the Philippines by enhancing their data and technology capacity. To do this, the team supported the creation of an Indigenous Peoples and Ancestral Domains portal, facilitating better access to resources and services for Indigenous Peoples.

:  This report aims to address critical data gaps concerning Indigenous Peoples (IP) in the Philippines, offering new insights into their demographics, ancestral domains, and the nexus of land, conflict, and poverty. Despite constitutional protections and the Indigenous Peoples Rights Act, IPs remain among the nation's most marginalized groups. The report highlights the ongoing challenges in data collection and the need for enhanced understanding of the inequalities affecting IPs due to scant research and complex data collection issues.

 

This project aims to offer specific technical support to enhance and pilot a group of systems, including software, processes, skills, and capacity. The piloting and development will be carried out by the Integrated Economic Development and Community Resilience Project (IEDCR). The goal is to modernize key Provincial Government processes, like Public Financial Management, and link them with tools used at the Ward level and within the National Government.

Through this project, the team undertook a systematic view of the digital government landscape in Somalia, looking at the opportunities and challenges to advance the use of technology to improve public service efficiency, transparency, citizen engagement, and services. This project produced Somalia¡¯s Digital Economy for Africa (DE4A) Assessment with a focus on the public platforms pillar.

This project seeks to boost public service sector capacity for information disclosure, citizen engagement, and feedback management. To achieve this, the project initiative will benchmark financial disclosure by public service delivery units, benchmark and evaluate Vietnam's public feedback integration processes, and develop recommendations for CivicTech to digitalize the processes.

This activity establishes and operates a regional GovTech Community in Western and Central Africa to foster knowledge sharing and capacity building. Through this project, the Bank organized 6 knowledge activities and developed a new Activity Plan for FY24, guided by a Leadership Group of six countries from the region.

This project in Zimbabwe supports scoping for government Enterprise Architecture (EA), delivering recommendations for ToRs for EA, a report on key government systems, and a peer learning event with representatives from Moldova, Cabo Verde, Zambia, and South Korea. For this project, the Bank team worked with the Office of President and Cabinet and the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, and Postal and Courier Services.
