The event will showcase the achievements and efforts led by countries across Africa in promoting disaster risk reduction and resilient infrastructure over the past decade, with support from the World Bank GFDRR¡¯s Japan-World Bank Program for Mainstreaming Disaster Risk Management in Developing Countries, which is managed by the Tokyo DRM Hub supported by the Ministry of Finance, Japan. A high-level panel will discuss the successes, challenges, and the future outlook of disaster and climate resilience in this changing world.
