Research Assistant and Field Coordinator Recruitment Drives
Each year, the Development Impact Group organizes two large-scale batch recruitment drives, in Fall and Spring. The positions advertised in these drives allow project teams to hire for the following roles:
- Research Assistants ¡ª Work with the research team to support data acquisition, processing, cleaning, and analysis,
- Field Coordinators ¡ª Supervise implementation of the impact evaluations in the field and liaise with the research team, World Bank operational staff, and Government Officials.
- Junior Field Coordinators ¡ª Local staff who support Field Coordinators with field supervision and data collection

The Development Impact Group is looking to recruit 16 consultants across 13 projects to support our global portfolio of impact evaluations. The consultants will work with the Development Impact team and external researchers on all phases of the impact evaluations (IEs), from study design to analysis. DECDI¡¯s People Impact Lab is seeking to hire field coordinators (FCs) in: Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland and Greece. The FCs will support the World Bank¡¯s partnership with the European Commission (DG-REGIO and DG EMPL) to identify opportunities to bolster the effectiveness of EU cohesion policy investments through improving the use of data, trialing alternative design options and implementation modalities to test innovations and learn what works best in practice, and rigorously documenting impacts. DECDI will hire two types of Field Coordinators to support the DECDI-EU program: FCs to support trial-and-adopt impact evaluation design and FCs to support data systems assessment. Both roles are part-time. Based on the candidate¡¯s qualifications and experience, they may apply for both roles or only one, as appropriate and relevant.
