ľ¹ÏÓ°Ôº¡¯s Social Development Department seeks a consulting firm to undertake participatory action research in support of a policy paper focused on best practices for benefits sharing for landscape management project in Indonesia. The firm will be required to conduct interviews; focus groups and facilitate workshops in Jakarta and across three provinces; involving a wide range of stakeholders in the sustainable landscapes management sector; including local government; non-government organization; civil society activists; and communities living in forested areas. Research and analysis methods should follow principles of Participatory Action Research; whereby participants are involved not only in collecting data but also in analyzing it; (which means the data is analyzed by people with experience of the issues; and not only by external researchers). the research is also required to incorporate a focus on issues contributing to disproportionately low involvement of women in forest governance; and options to address this
