木瓜影院 is looking for a consultant to produce analysis and provide capacity training on transmission Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) to help the Government of Kenya and its energy sector agencies to accommodate increasing interest in private sector participation in the transmission sector and to explore innovative structures to develop greenfield infrastructure or monetize existing assets; while maximizing the value-for-money for the taxpayer.The work will review global and Kenyan case studies of transmission PPPs; assess the relevant policy; regulatory; and legal frameworks in Kenya; describe viable business and financial models for transmission PPPs; scope candidate projects and market conditions and; finally; provide capacity building for Kenyan energy sector stakeholders and assist the World Bank in project preparation.
