Jobs are at the heart of Europe and Central Asia’s development prospects. Since 2000, employment growth has outpaced population growth, and plenty of jobs moved from agriculture to services. But with productivity growth slowing, and the pace of demographic change increasing, future job creation is becoming more challenging. The countries of the region need a bold agenda centered on investing in people and infrastructure, enhancing governance and the business environment, and mobilizing private capital.

Join us to discuss the next chapter—where creating more and better jobs will help foster stronger, more inclusive, and more resilient economic growth.
