Nghia-Piotr Le Trong is an Analyst who joined the Business Ready Unit in July 2023, initially as an STC, and is one of the members of the Data Analysis team of the B-Ready Project. Before working for the World Bank he worked in the IMF as a Short-Term Expert in Health Expenditures, and Fossil Fuel Subsidies. He served as the Research Officer for the International Monetary Fund's Fiscal Affair's Expenditure Policy Division. He also has private sector experience in financial services litigation consulting with EconOne. Nghia-Piotr holds a Masters of Public Policy from the Georgetown McCourt School of Public Policy, as well as a dual bachelors in Economics and Political Economies from the University of California, Berkeley. He speaks Vietnamese and Polish.
