Indira Campos currently serves as the Resident Representative of the World Bank Group (WBG) in Cabo Verde, where she leads the representation of the Group’s three core institutions: the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA). Prior to this role, she was the IFC Country Officer, overseeing operations in Angola, Botswana, and Namibia.
With over years of professional experience, Indira began her career at Chatham House in London, one of the world’s most renowned international think tanks. She subsequently transitioned into the development finance sector, including the European Commission in Brussels and the African Development Bank in Tunis. Before joining the WBG, she also worked with the Boston Consulting Group, a leading global strategy consulting firm.
Indira holds a Master’s in Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IESE Business School in Spain.
